We are honoured to share this meaningful milestone. Our firm, Messrs. Juslyn Chin & Jean, co-hosted the seminar titled “双向互通赋能琼马共拓商机” alongside Ricky Tan & Co Maikou Representative Office (Malaysia), Morison LC, and Windows to Global Trade. The seminar was held on 11 June 2026 in Hainan, China. This sharing session was further supported by the 马来西亚福建社团联合会企业家协会 (Malaysian Fujian Associations Federation Entrepreneurs Association) and the 马来西亚海南总商会 (Malaysian Hainan Chamber of Commerce).
The seminar attracted numerous business entrepreneurs and industry leaders, including representatives from publicly listed companies in Hainan, China. Our partner, Ms. Juslyn Chin, delivered a presentation on “Legal Compliance and Risk Control for Chinese Enterprises Investing in Malaysia”, covering key areas such as market entry pathways, foreign investment regulations, sector-specific restrictions, and core operational compliance requirements, including licensing and employment matters, as well as common legal risks and mitigation strategies.
We extend our appreciation to all co-hosts, supporting parties and participants for their valuable contributions in making this event a success. We also wish to express our gratitude to Nanyang Siang Pau (南洋商报) for its coverage and publication of this event. This event further reinforces our firm’s commitment to facilitating cross-border legal understanding and supporting the structured, compliant, and strategic market entry of foreign enterprises into Malaysia.
